Caroline Purr is New York based singer-songwriter whose music blends heartland storytelling, rock-and-roll grit, and intimate emotional honesty.

 

Raised in a deeply  musical family- from doo-wop harmonies and gospel to classic country and metal- she learned early that music is a way to connect, comfort, and tell the truth.

A seasoned performer and songwriter, Caroline has spent years on stages across New York City and beyond — singing with a full band at Lincoln Center, returning to The Bitter End again and again over the years, playing a full-band originals show at the legendary My Father's Place on Long Island for her EP release, and touring for years with tribute bands, including BB King's and The Cutting Room. Her songs draw from life's highs and lows, pairing strong melodies with lyrics that feel lived-in and real.

Whether delivering soaring anthems or stripped- down ballads, Caroline's music carries warmth, vulnerability, and a timeless sense of soul.

 

Her new single, "California (Country take me home)," arrives November 13, 2026 on Caradon Records — a country rock / Americana song about a dream burning in your heart you can't let go of, because it's part of your soul. Her previous single, "Kiss You Like This," was added by 13 Triple-A / Americana / college stations, including KEXP, with spins logged at 25 stations, and charted on the NACC Folk Top 30.
